The republican candidates claim to be against big government interfering in out lives… but they support the government banning a gay couple from getting married, they support regulating a woman’s uterus, and they support making anal sex, even when preformed in the privacy of the bedroom, a criminal offense. 

Oh, and if you’re a Ron Paul fan (or a Jon Huntsman fan) and you think that he doesn’t deserve to be on these lists… well, think again… .

*Ron Paul on anti-sodomy laws: “The Court determined that Texas had no right to establish its own standards for private sexual conduct, because gay sodomy is somehow protected under the 14th amendment “right to privacy”. Ridiculous as sodomy laws may be, there clearly is no right to privacy nor sodomy found anywhere in the Constitution. There are, however, states’ rights – rights plainly affirmed in the Ninth and Tenth amendments. Under those amendments, the State of Texas has the right to decide for itself how to regulate social matters like sex, using its own local standards.”

*Ron Paul (as with anti-sodomy laws) believes that the state has the right to make gay marriage illegal. He also was the leading supporter of the “Right To Life” amendment which would make abortion illegal in all 50 states.

*Jon Huntsman, contrary to popular belief, does not support gay marriage: ”Governor Huntsman states that he supports the traditional definition of marriage as between one man and one woman. In 2004, he supported an amendment to the Utah constitution which defined marriage as one man and one woman. He has stated that he has always supported the traditional definition of marriage and that you open a pandora’s box when you try to redefine it.”
